Overview

Are you interested in joining a dynamic and international team of professionals to transform education? IE University's IE Impact is looking for an Program Coordinator, IE Impact (Segovia) to join its team!

Are you interested in joining a dynamic and international team of professionals to transform education? The IE Impact Department – which is within the Office of the Vice-Rector of Education and Student Experience – is looking for a Program Coordinator to join its team in Segovia!

The Program Coordinator must be a team-player, who is comfortable working in a busy environment; excels at time-management; has a positive and proactive mindset; is detail oriented; enjoys interacting with college-aged students; engages with empathy; and is eager to go above and beyond to provide the highest quality learning experience to IEU students.

The Program Coordinator position is a great opportunity for current IEU staff who are assistants and seek a promotion (with the support of their current supervisor). It is also a great opportunity for young professionals who seek to form part of an international team and develop themselves further in an academic institution. It is also a great opportunity for others who perhaps have been out of the workforce for a period and are eager to contribute to our team their maturity and eagerness to work outside of the home.

While the program coordinator position is a junior position, the program coordinators are the motor of the program management team.

  • The program coordinator role is highly administrative and requires a lot of time seated at a computer responding to student and faculty email inquiries and occasional in-person drop-ins.
  • The program coordinator role is also asked to balance administrative tasks with creative work, contributing to “beyond-the-classroom" activities for students that serve to reinforce IE Impact learning objectives, as well as contributing to the organization of training activities for faculty.
  • The program coordinator role engages with many different and transversal stakeholders across the entire university (staff, students, faculty, guests) and such interactions require professionalism, intercultural skills, maturity and empathy.
