Consultant (Transport Practice)

This is a role for an analytically strong consultant who enjoys turning complex information into clear, decision-ready outputs. You will work across transport-related projects, combining research, data analysis, financial and business analysis, report writing, presentations and client interaction.

The right person will be trusted to take ownership of components of project deliverables, contribute insight rather than only process information, and help the broader practice deliver high-quality work under time and budget pressure.

Profile for Success

• Graduate qualification preferred in an analytical field such as finance, commerce, engineering or the sciences.
• Strong academic record and evidence of structured thinking, research, synthesis and problem-solving.
• 3 to 5 years of work experience, ideally across finance, management consulting, strategy consulting, engineering, transport or government.
• Transport engineering or transport economics exposure would be highly relevant.
• Strong numeracy, financial analysis, business analysis and modelling capability.
• Ability to translate complex material into clear written and verbal outputs.
• Strong report writing, presentation preparation and client communication skills.
• Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT or Copilot to support research, analysis and content development, while applying critical judgement to outputs.
• Self-motivated, deadline-driven and able to work independently or in diverse project teams.
