Salary Range: Open to discussion
Work Setup: Hybrid (2-3 days RTO)

The role
You will lead an in-house shared services team providing operational support for insurance and risk management processes to internal stakeholders and business units globally. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day service delivery, ensuring process efficiency, compliance, and service-level adherence within a centralized shared services environment. The ideal candidate is a hands-on people manager with insurance or risk management industry experience, capable of working shifting schedules.
Your Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead an in-house insurance operations shared services team to deliver consistent, high-quality support to internal stakeholders
- Ensure service-level agreements (SLAs), turnaround times, and quality standards are met within the shared services model
- Plan and manage team schedules, workloads, and capacity to support shifting schedules and NA time zones
- Drive standardization, process documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives across insurance operations
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and insurance regulatory standards
- Act as the primary escalation point for operational issues and service delivery challenges
- Partner with internal teams such as Risk Management, Finance, Legal, and HR to align service delivery and resolve issues
- Lead performance management, coaching, training, and development of team members
- Track, analyze, and report operational KPIs, productivity, and quality metrics to leadership
- Support transition of new processes into shared services and ensure readiness for go-live
What we're looking for:
- 3-5 years of proven experience as a people manager within an insurance, risk management, healthcare account or related shared services environment
- Industry background in claims/insurance or risk management (e.g., brokerage, consulting, or insurance services
- Experience working in an in-house shared services, captive, or global business services (GBS) model preferred
- Strong understanding of insurance operations workflows and controls
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Process-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to start immediately or within a short notice period
- Willingness and flexibility to work on shifting schedules
