Description
**The Technical Support Specialist** will provide expert technical assistance to customers, specializing in the installation, operation, and maintenance of Cargo Floor's advanced hydraulic and mechanical moving floor systems for trailers. This role involves hands-on work with hydraulic systems, mechanical components, and related trailer applications. The Technical Support Specialist will play a vital role in ensuring customers achieve optimal performance from their Cargo Floor systems, serving as a key point of contact for resolving technical challenges and ensuring high-quality support for our innovative trailer solutions.
## Tasks
- Provide on-site and remote technical assistance to customers during hydraulic system installation and troubleshooting.
- Guide customers through routine maintenance procedures to ensure the longevity of Cargo Floor systems.
- Train customer teams on the proper use, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hydraulic systems.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address and resolve technical challenges.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, troubleshooting guides, and training materials.
- Collect feedback from customers regarding product performance and relay it to the product development team.
- Support the sales team by providing technical expertise during customer meetings and trade shows.
- Monitor industry trends to recommend product enhancements and innovations.
## Requirements
- Provide on-site and remote technical assistance to customers during system installation and troubleshooting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field (mandatory).
- Hands-on experience with mechanical and hydraulic systems, preferably in logistics or waste management equipment.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to travel frequently for on-site support and training.
