Our Finance Shared Services (FSS), located in Bengaluru, India is looking to strengthen its teams in preparation of an imminent Global finance transformation with exciting new positions being created in multiple functions.

The Finance, Accounting and Procurement functions are co-located, and work with colleagues and partners around the world. The key purpose of the role is to perform accounting tasks relating to Bank account reconciliation and General Ledger.

Your role

• Auto Bank Reconciliations for Receipts and Payments accounts.
• BACS payment account reconciliation and post the journals.
• Manual Bank reconciliations.
• Regularising the reconciling items by posting necessary journal entries.
• Prepare the journals daily by analysing whether the transaction is Currency trade within group, Fair value hedging, Intercompany loans, Dividends or any other transactions by using the details from STAR (Treasury tool).
• Liquidity report, Bank Lead schedule, Petty cash, Cash book and Cash analysis.
• Assisting with weekly cash reports and quarterly cash flow forecasting.
• Ad hoc tasks including producing reports.

About you

Professional & Technical skills:

• The candidate must have experience in complete accounting for the Bank account reconciliation process.
• Should be well versed with General Ledger Accounting.
• Knowledge in Intercompany accounting is an added advantage.
• Computer literate, Microsoft Office i.e., Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
• To have excellent English language skills in both written and verbal form.
• Must be able to communicate with internal offshore colleagues in a professional manner.
• Must have a keen eye for details.
• The ability to work collaboratively, building strong relationships with other accounting teams.
• Must have the ability to prioritise workload to achieve daily tasks and meet deadlines.
• Must be organised and able to be flexible.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• B’COM / MBA – Finance.
• 4-5 years of experience in Financial Accounting role preferably Shared services environment.

• Working hours: 10.00am – 7.30pm (India Standard Time).
• Work Location: Yelahanka, Bangalore.
