What you will do

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Quality Team as we are actively recruiting for a CMM Operator responsible for measuring fixtures, assemblies, parts and components ensuring they meet customer requirements.  This position will report to the Quality Supervisor.

What we’re looking for:

· Create CMM Programs from CAD files or part prints.

· Inspect parts using CMM or other gauges when requested by the Manufacturing Department or customer.

· Set up work fixtures to engineering nominal dimensions using fixed type or portable CMM equipment.

· Participate and assist in GR&R studies, as required.

· Complete gauge calibration and control.

· Collect SPC data, create charts, and perform calculations, as required.

· Perform other miscellaneous tasks in the Quality Department as assigned by the Quality Supervisor.

What you need to succeed:

· Mechanical Engineering Technology Diploma, or Quality Department (CMM) experience.

· Good computer skills in business application programs (MS Word, Excel, or similar).

· Excellent communication skills.

Salary Range: $20.00-$32.00 hourly
