About the role
The primary purpose of the Material & Quality Engineer is to oversee quality assurance processes, and material testing to ensure construction works meet required standards. The role supports safe, durable, and compliant project delivery through effective monitoring, evaluation, and reporting. The incumbent will role model the SJ Group values, ethics and code of conduct and ensure all business activities are carried out in accordance with these guiding principles.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and monitor quality assurance/quality control systems to verify the compliance of construction works and materials
Oversee material testing and approval processes
Prepare technical documentation and compliance reports
About You:
At least a graduate in Civil Engineering or an equivalent degree in a related field/ subject
Construction supervisor experience in road/ bridge/ similar projects.
Proficient in material testing and evaluation for compliance with standards and specifications.
