Our brand, Lennor Metier Consulting, a DOLE-licensed headhunting and recruitment agency in the Philippines, is proud to partner with a Media Localization Company in their search for a Managing Director based in Makati.

 

Salary Range: $4,200 - $5,000

Work Setup: Hybrid 

Shift Schedule: Day Shift

Location: Makati City

 

The role

Your position as Managing Director has accountability for all aspects of the local and operation and delivery of business for its people and customers. This is a key role in supporting revenue growth for the Philippine office, responsible for the day to day management of in-house production and project management teams, Vendors, Freelancers and other partners or resources required to successfully deliver media localization.

The Managing Director is responsible for managing, planning, designing, implementing operation and administration activities of the office aligning the global business strategy of the client company. The position ensures company directions and business are aligned with operating objectives, standards and goals.

 

Your Responsibilities:

Leadership - Inspirational leadership with a clarity of direction, confidence of execution and a recognition of success. Be seen as a thought leader in the industry, an accomplished public speaker (internally and externally) and honed emotional intelligence. An authentic line manager able to inspire individuals to exceptional performance.

Customer Focus -Building exceptionally strong relationships with customers. Able to build a clear stakeholder map, understand customer roles, responsibilities and centers of influence and ensure strong and effective relationships built at all levels between customer and the client company. Ensure alignment to customer goals, mission, culture and objectives to move perceived view of the client company from vendor to strategic partner.

Commercial -Strong focus on business performance and growth. Ownership and delivery of business performance metrics supporting both regional and global targets and ambitions. Strong negotiation and contract skills to ensure quality of engagements, best commercial outcomes and minimized risk profile.

Delivery & Operational - Able to provide a strong delivery and operational leadership with an eye for detail. Pragmatic in approach and able to solve problems to ensure that delivery quality, cost and timing is on or ahead of agreed SLAs and expectations. Ability to influence others to drive improved outcomes for the business

Stakeholder Management - Able to build and nurture relationships at senior levels both within the client company and externally with stakeholders and the wider industry (Customers, Vendors, Influencers)

Communications-Strong and consistent communications skills with the ability to promote and drive influence in the market for the client company. 

 

What we're looking for:

• BSc/BA in business administration or relevant field; MSc, MA, MBA preferred

• 10 + years of working experience in post-production industry (subtitle & dubbing) is

preferred

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal/written communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence across a variety of personality types and resolve conflicts with competing ideas

• Strong people management with multinational experience, interpersonal, and

collaboration skills

• Ability to lead, manage, and motivate and inspire a diverse group of professionals

• Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment
