Job Summary

IT Specialist (Team Lead)

Job Description

• Lead system analysis by understanding business processes and guiding the team to translate business requirements into clear, structured, and feasible system solutions.
• Oversee the gathering, definition, validation, and management of system requirements in collaboration with business users and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives and enterprise standards.
• Act as Team Lead, responsible for managing and delivering projects within scope, timeline, and quality, ensuring alignment with defined budget and resource plans.
• Oversee end-to-end (E2E) project delivery, with a clear understanding of system and process impacts across multiple dependent systems.
• Coordinate and collaborate effectively with internal teams, vendors, developers, testers, users, and other related stakeholders.
• Track and proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies, with proper escalation and stakeholder alignment across related functions.
• Delegate tasks to System Analysts, Developers, and Testers, and follow up on progress to ensure timely delivery.
• Oversee release planning, deployment coordination, and post-deployment validation.
• Oversee unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring quality and readiness for production.
• Ensure system designs support high availability, secure data handling, and optimized performance through proper design governance.
• Provide guidance on issue analysis, root cause identification, and solution direction to ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, and security teams on cloud infrastructure and deployment design, providing application-level requirements and ensuring alignment on environment setup, network connectivity, firewall rules, CI/CD pipelines, and integration with enterprise platforms.
• Guide adoption of new technologies and tools to improve implementation approaches, development efficiency, and system delivery processes.
• Review and guide analysis of existing systems, and propose enhancements to improve performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Oversee system and solution design within assigned domains, and align with solution architects on cross-system architecture.
• Ensure technology solutions are aligned with system architecture, enterprise governance, security standards, and best practices.
• Oversee the design of system flows, integration flows, APIs, and solutions across front-end, back-end, and external systems.
• Ensure creation and maintenance of system artifacts such as system flow diagrams, data flow diagrams (DFD), architecture diagrams, prototypes, and wireframes.
• Govern API specifications and integration requirements for systems owned by the team, ensuring proper version control and documentation standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 4–6 years of experience in System Analysis, with experience leading projects or teams.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Hands-on experience in system analysis, solution design, and application development.
• Experience with databases such as Azure Database, Oracle, MS SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
• Strong understanding of system integration and enterprise system connectivity.
• Hands-on experience with Microservices Architecture.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs, SOAP APIs, and Web Services.
• Experience with cloud technologies (Azure) and Azure Monitor / logging tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and vendors effectively.
• Strong communication, coordination, leadership, and ownership skills.
