Scrum Master/Agile Coach

We are seeking a dedicated Scrum Master / Agile Coach to serve as a servant leader and mentor for one or more Agile teams. The person in this role will be responsible for guiding teams in Scrum and SAFe methodologies, facilitating Agile ceremonies, and supporting continuous improvement efforts to enhance team performance and collaboration. This position requires a strong focus on delivery metrics and effective stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Act as a servant leader and Agile coach for one or multiple Agile teams, fostering adherence to Scrum and SAFe frameworks.
• Educate and support teams in Agile practices, ensuring processes are followed consistently.
• Facilitate Sprint ceremonies including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives, ensuring productive engagement and adherence to timeboxes.
• Collaborate with Product Owner(s) to manage and prioritize the backlog effectively, aligning team efforts with Sprint and Program Increment (PI) objectives.
• Protect team productivity by identifying and removing impediments that may hinder progress.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team dynamics, performance, and delivery capabilities.
• Promote and support effective communication and collaboration between teams.
• Represent the team by providing transparent and clear status updates to relevant stakeholders, ensuring alignment across the organization.
• Track, analyze, and report on Agile delivery metrics such as velocity, burndown charts, cycle time, and PI progress to support data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications

• Proven experience acting as a servant leader and Agile coach for Agile teams, preferably within a SAFe environment.
• Strong knowledge and practical application of Scrum and SAFe frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate Agile ceremonies effectively within prescribed timeboxes.
• Experience supporting Product Owner(s) in backlog management and aligning work with Sprint and PI goals.
• Skills in identifying and removing obstacles to maintain team productivity.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and fostering positive team dynamics.
• Capability to enhance inter-team communication and collaboration.
• Proficiency in tracking and interpreting Agile delivery metrics to guide team performance.
