Job Description:
Primary responsibilities include the following:
- Executing Tail Spend Sourcing Strategies
- Support supplier analysis and market intelligence activities
- Manage Request for Proposal and Quotation processes (eRFX)
- Consistently document and guide sourcing execution in designated tools
- Ensure sourcing tactics drive value in specific functional business environments
- Delivering Value for Customers
- Understand business goals and interpret customer needs to identify potential opportunities
Partner with colleagues in various business areas as appropriate - Managing Contracts:
- Ensure contract policies are followed, compliance metrics are met or exceeded
- Inform stakeholders on contracting policies and procedures, providing support and corrective actions where required
- Lead contracting activities including selecting appropriate contract templates and effectively negotiating business terms
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree OR
Associate’s degree and 2 years of Sourcing, Contracting, Customer Service, and/or Project Management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Combination of: Sourcing, Contracting, Customer Service and/or Project Management
- Broad knowledge of the market forces shaping a customer’s business context (e.g. supplier base, sources of competitive advantage)
- Demonstrated experience working within a set of guidelines in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated success ensuring requirements are met with a customer-centric mindset
- Analytical & Technical
- Ability to influence to drive desired results
- Ability to analyze, summarize, and present insights based on the needs of the audience
- Change Management:
- Independent self-starter with an interest in or working understanding of broad business functions
- Demonstrated track record of identifying root causes to issues and proactively problem solving
- Demonstrated success in partnering cross-functionally
