Job Description:
The Senior Pricing Analyst supports UPS Strategic Accounts by developing data-driven pricing strategies that balance revenue growth, profitability, and customer retention. This role analyzes customer shipping data, financial performance, market dynamics, and competitive positioning to create customized Small Package pricing solutions. The position partners closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, Strategy, and Operations teams to support contract negotiations, pricing implementation, and ongoing customer profitability management.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze customer shipping characteristics, costs, profitability, and revenue trends to develop competitive pricing strategies.
- Perform financial modeling and profitability analysis to support pricing recommendations.
- Present pricing recommendations and business cases to Pricing Leadership for approval.
- Assess the impact of proposed pricing actions on revenue, margin, customer retention, and growth objectives.
- Identify risks and opportunities associated with pricing proposals and contract terms.
- Utilize proprietary UPS pricing systems, reporting tools, and analytical platforms to develop pricing solutions.
- Create and maintain detailed pricing models, reports, and customer profitability analyses.
- Develop, review, and audit customer agreements, amendments, and pricing documentation.
- Partner with Legal and Contract teams to address contract language and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Operations, Strategy, and Legal stakeholders to support complex customer negotiations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or International equivalent
- Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field - Preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (Pivot Tables, Lookup Functions, IF Statements, etc)
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Salary Grade: 20E
Location: Atlanta, GA (GACOR) - must reside or be willing to self-relocate to the area
