Use computer-aided methods in theoretical chemistry to develop innovative solutions for homogeneous and heterogeneous reaction mechanisms, kinetics, and catalysis to support chemical product development.
Develop and apply computational simulations, advanced material models and other simulation techniques to predict and develop the processing and application of complex chemical systems, materials and compounds

• Take over the selection (if necessary development) and implementation of the suitable computer-aided calculation and simulation methods and the configuration of the software relevant for the achievement of this goal

• Participating in or directing internal development projects and documenting, communicating and presenting results is also one of your responsibilities

• Involved in the synergistic collaboration with the experts in computer chemistry and material simulations in our multidisciplinary team

• Interact and collaborate with other global areas for chemical product research, application engineering and technology development in our company

Qualification:

• PhD in Theoretical Chemistry or Doctorate in Chemistry with a focus and experience in Theoretical Chemistry

• Demonstrate solid knowledge and expertise in the application of computational chemistry methods and software to elucidate chemical reactions and catalysis, e.g. Ab Initio, Semiempirical Methods, DFT, MD, and coarsened coarse-grained methods

• Experience in working with high performance computing as well as programming and creating scripts

• A proactive attitude in the workplace, initiative, creativity and the inclination

• Can work in an international working environment

• Very good knowledge of Chinese and English in spoken and written
