Who we are looking for:
We’re in search of an Automated QA Engineer (Playwright) to join our team right away. Our ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about test automation, enjoys building scalable testing frameworks, and has a strong software engineering mindset. You'll work closely with developers and clients to ensure high-quality software while helping shape modern QA practices. Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright.
- Create reliable end-to-end, integration, and regression test suites for modern web applications.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and clients to ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Identify, document, and help troubleshoot defects while working alongside engineering teams to resolve issues quickly.
- Continuously improve automated testing processes, frameworks, and best practices.
- Participate in feature planning, technical discussions, and code reviews from a quality perspective.
- Help establish and promote QA standards across projects.
- Leverage AI-powered tools to improve testing efficiency, productivity, and overall software quality.
- Support CI/CD workflows by integrating and maintaining automated test execution where appropriate.
Some Must-Haves:
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (required).
- Proven experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks from the ground up.
- Experience testing modern web applications.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, QA best practices, and automation strategies.
- Experience working with JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaborate directly with clients and development teams.
- Self-starter mentality with a passion for delivering high-quality software.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
Nice to Have:
- Consulting or software development agency experience.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- AI-forward mindset with experience using AI tools to accelerate testing, development, and productivity.

Compensation Package (Salary Transparency for US Based Employees)
- Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000+
- Salary is negotiable and the range can be increased based on qualifications, certifications and experience

Other Information:
The work hours will be approximately 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, depending on workload, with the occasional late night when a tight deadline calls for it. We work for security-conscious clients, thus background checks will be required. Salary dependent upon experience.
