Job Description:

For over 150 years, our dedication to being the Global Hausbank for our clients has been driven by our people – in around 60 countries and across more than 150 nationalities.

Their deep understanding, insights, expertise, and passion help our clients navigate an increasingly complex world – be it in our Corporate Bank, our Private Bank, our Investment Bank or our Asset Management division.

Together we can make a great impact for our clients home and abroad, securing their lasting success and financial security.

Corporate Cash Management is a core business within Deutsche Bank’s Corporate Bank, supporting multinational corporations and large Italian corporates with innovative payment, collection, liquidity and treasury solutions. The Implementation team plays a critical role in onboarding new clients, managing complex cash management projects and ensuring the successful deployment of Deutsche Bank’s products and services.

We are looking for a motivated Intern to join our Implementation team in Milan. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in transaction banking project delivery, client onboarding and implementation management, while working closely with clients, Relationship Managers, Product Specialists, Operations and technical teams.

As an Implementation Intern, you will support the team responsible for the onboarding and implementation of Cash Management solutions for corporate clients. You will gain exposure to project management methodologies, client interactions, banking operations and payment infrastructures across domestic and international markets.

You will assist the team in coordinating implementation activities, monitoring project milestones, supporting client communication and contributing to the successful delivery of strategic client projects.

This role provides a unique opportunity to develop a strong understanding of transaction banking and the end-to-end lifecycle of corporate client implementations.

Learning Objectives

  • Support the Implementation team in the onboarding of new corporate and multinational clients.
  • Assist in the coordination of implementation projects related to payments, collections, cash management and digital banking solutions.
  • Monitor project timelines, milestones and deliverables under the supervision of senior implementation managers.
  • Support client communication and help coordinate meetings, project updates and status reporting.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Operations, Service, Sales and Technology teams to facilitate successful project delivery.
  • Assist in preparing implementation documentation, project plans, testing materials and client presentations.
  • Support clients during testing and migration activities, ensuring a smooth transition to new banking solutions.
  • Contribute to identifying process improvement opportunities and implementation best practices.
  • Maintain accurate project records and management information.
  • Learn and operate in compliance with Deutsche Bank policies, controls and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Economics, Finance, Management Engineering, Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Italian and English.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Curiosity, enthusiasm and willingness to learn in a dynamic environment.
  • Proactive attitude and problem-solving orientation.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work across diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong commitment to professionalism, integrity and teamwork.

Start Date: September 2026, 6 months internship
