High Risk OB office is searching for a full-time, experienced individual with general office duties to join our team. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks in medical records and front desk.
Job Type: Full-Time Monday - Friday
Full benefits package available with pay in the 90th percentile.
Tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Answering phones
- Filing patient information into appropriate chart
- Requesting medical records from referring offices
- Completion of medical record requests within appropriate timeframe
- Scheduling appointments
- Checking in patients and confirming demographics/insurance
- Collecting co-pays and asking for payments on balances
- Checking out patients and scheduling follow-up appointments
- Maintain quality and accurate records.
- Make sure all medical records are protected and kept confidential in compliance with HIPAA.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Physical requirements – sitting, standing, walking, lifting
