As a Statistical Programming Team Lead at ICON, you will be responsible for overseeing the statistical programming activities within clinical trial projects, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of statistical analysis outputs.
What You Will Do:
Your focus will be on coordinating statistical programming delivery, resolving issues, and developing team capability.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and managing a team of statistical programmers, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to enhance team performance and development.
- Overseeing the development, validation, and maintenance of statistical programs (SAS, R, or similar) for data manipulation, analysis, and reporting in clinical trials.
- Collaborating with biostatisticians, project managers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and ensure the accurate implementation of statistical analyses.
- Ensuring adherence to industry regulations, including ICH/GCP guidelines, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within programming processes.
- Managing project timelines and deliverables, while ensuring quality control of programming outputs and documentation.
Your Profile:
You will have solid statistical programming experience, with the ability to manage competing priorities and develop your team.
Required qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in statistics, computer science, mathematics, or a related discipline
- Significant experience in statistical programming within the clinical research industry, with a strong understanding of statistical methodologies.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams and driving successful project outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as SAS, R, or Python, along with experience in clinical data management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
