Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Mobile Driver in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Security Officer at a residential apartment community, where you will conduct vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide outstanding service to residents and visitors. This driving post requires a valid in-state driver’s license that meets Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Bring integrity, reliability, and a caring, team-focused approach to every shift.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and property staff while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of apartment communities, including common areas, amenities, parking areas, and property perimeters.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, property concerns, access issues, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrol activity and incidents through accurate reports and assist with emergency response activities when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
