About the role
- Coordinate multiple technology streams and manage interdependencies across teams and stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, budgets, forecasts, and delivery roadmaps.
- Work closely with Technology Program Managers to ensure workstream schedules are aligned with overall program timelines and critical milestones, enabling effective dependency management and successful program delivery.
- Monitor project performance, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions where required.
- Manage project risks, issues, assumptions, and decisions to minimise impacts to delivery.
- Develop high-quality project reporting and decision-support materials for Steering Committees and senior leadership forums.
- Facilitate procurement activities, vendor engagement, and contract management where required.
- Ensure delivery adheres to organisational project management frameworks, processes, and governance requirements.
- Track and report Technology stream financial performance, benefits realisation, and key delivery metrics.
About you
- Proven experience coordinating technology projects within complex organisational environments.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, frameworks, tools, and governance practices.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, forecasts, and resource requirements.
- Experience managing project financials, including cost estimation, funding requests, budget monitoring, and variance management.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and experience supporting vendor evaluation, and contract management.
- Strong risk, issue, dependency, and change management capabilities.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to build trust with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends, assess impacts, and recommend practical solutions.
- High levels of resilience, persistence, ownership, and commitment to successful project delivery.
- Strong active listening skills and ability to adapt communication styles for different audiences.
Qualifications
Tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry experience.
Desirable PRINCE2 Practitioner preferred, PRINCE2 Foundation acceptable.
Desirable Professional certification of a widely used Project Management discipline.
