About The Position

The Dealer Accounts Management Specialist will be responsible for managing and determining resolution for dealer complaint accounts from loan customers to minimize company losses. This position will research and work closely with Dealerships, Customers, and other internal departments to investigate and remedy mechanical, registration or other customer concerns for loans recently originated from our network of dealerships.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Maintain business relationships with existing dealers and customers.
  • Responsible for communicating with Customers, Dealer Marketing Managers, Regional Managers and Dealers to resolve dealer complaint accounts
  • Initiates outbound calls to Customers and Dealerships regarding the resolution of complaint accounts.
  • Routinely communicates with internal departments accurately tracks, follows up and performs regular action plans to resolve dealer complaint concerns.
  • Evaluate the customer’s concern and/or request to determine the best solution from Management.
  • Educate the customer on any required course(s) of action on a case-by-case basis.
  • Assist borrowers in devising a strategy to allow them to keep their vehicle while meeting the obligations of the loan and other duties as assigned.
  • Update account information in accordance with established procedures and security guidelines and perform accurate account documentation.
  • Follow and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).

Essential Requirements:

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
  • 2+ year(s) of experience in the customer service and/or collections field, preferably in the subprime auto finance industry.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective organizational skills with an emphasis on attention to detail.
  • Ability to read, interpret and apply federal, state and local collections regulations.
  • Ability to interact with others in a professional, tactful and sensitive manner.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and to work independently and as part of a team.

 

Salary: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
