We are looking for a Training Specialist with a background in security disciplines to include, but not limited to, program security, security processing, adjudications, information assurance, counterintelligence and insider threat.
Your Impact:
You should have experience in analysis/research, design, development, intervention, and evaluation of the training’s effectiveness.
- Prepare and/or conduct training for security-related programs, teach classes, hold seminars and discussion groups. Design, develop, organize and deliver training programs to train all levels of personnel. Develops tests and visual aids, conducts training classes, and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities. Creates teaching outline in conformance with selected instructional methods, utilizing knowledge of specified training needs and effectiveness of training methods.
- Formally, document instructional and training design plans in the form of a design document, project plan, or similar.
- Ensure solutions address performance gaps, improve individuals’ task performance, or contribute to organizational metrics
- Identify and make improvements needed to instruction
- Design assessments of learning to determine learning gains or achievement of objectives.

- Guides the successful completion of major training programs and may function in a project leadership role.
- Develops highly advanced training solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.
- Applies highly advanced knowledge for the planning and designing of instructional methods and materials.
- Provides highly advanced knowledge in identifying training needs and recommends highly advanced training solutions by working with business leaders and critical stakeholders
Provides advanced knowledge and guidance on the structure and improvements of the on-site and/or in-house training classes, seminars, self-study, lectures, demonstrations, simulation exercises and discussion groups for customers and/or employees.
Develop highly advanced measurement tools to evaluate the effectiveness of instruction or training interventions.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant and highly advanced training trends and technology.
May coach and review the work of less experienced professionals.
May serve as a team or task leader.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
BA/BS (or equivalent experience)
8+ years of experience (details above)
3 years have supported the Intelligence community.
