Overview
Make a meaningful impact during flu season as an LVN at Community. This temporary assignment, anticipated to run from Aug. 24, 2026, through Nov. 15, 2026, offers an excellent opportunity for new graduates and experienced LVNs alike to gain valuable clinical experience while supporting the health and well-being of our workforce. Responsibilities
In this role, you will assist with seasonal flu vaccination efforts and documentation, often working independently at assigned clinic locations while ensuring a positive experience for those receiving care. You'll help maintain a safe and healthy environment during a critical time of year while developing your clinical expertise, building professional relationships and contributing to Community's commitment to exceptional care.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE), or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
- Completion of an accredited Vocational Nursing School program OR become licensed by equivalency required
Licenses and Certifications
- BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
- LVN - Current State of California Licensed Vocational Nurse License required
- LVNIVTX - IV Therapy Certification (LVN) required within 180 days of hire or transfer into position-This is not required
