Our client, a well-established and internationally recognised manufacturer within the fashion and apparel industry, is looking to recruit a Sewing Machinist to join their skilled production team in Desborough.

The Role
Working as part of an experienced sewing team, you'll be responsible for producing high-quality garments to exact specifications, ensuring exceptional standards of craftsmanship and attention to detail throughout the manufacturing process.
Whether you already have commercial sewing experience or are looking to develop your skills further, you'll receive ongoing training in specialist garment construction techniques while working alongside an experienced and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture complete garments to exceptionally high quality standards.
- Follow garment construction methods and production specifications accurately.
- Ensure all finished garments meet required measurements and quality standards.
- Maintain excellent attention to detail throughout the production process.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production deadlines.
- Support other areas of the Quality department during busy periods when required.
- Contribute to maintaining the company's high standards of craftsmanship and product quality.
About You
We're looking for someone who takes pride in producing quality work and enjoys working as part of a close-knit team.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Sewing Machinist or within a similar manufacturing environment, or a strong interest in developing a career in sewing and garment production.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- A commitment to producing work to a consistently high standard.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your workload.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- The ability to work to deadlines within a production environment.
