Role Overview:

As an NMS Tools Engineer at A1 CDC, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing Network Management Systems that support A1’s convergent network operations across fixed and mobile services. You will work with platforms such as NetAct, Ericsson Network Manager (ENM), ZTE Power Supply Platform, NetNuman, and internal tools to ensure reliable system performance, automation, and efficient troubleshooting, contributing to the stability and continuous improvement of A1’s network operations.

Role insights:

• Design, Implementation, and Management: Lead the design, implementation, and lifecycle management of advanced NMS platforms, including ENM (Ericsson Network Manager), NetAct, ZTE Power Supply Platform, and other network management systems.
• System Optimization and Troubleshooting: Monitor NMS performance, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal system operation and service reliability.
• Process Automation: Develop and implement automation solutions (e.g., Python, Bash, SQL) to streamline operational tasks and improve efficiency.
• Integration and Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to integrate new technologies and enhance NMS platform capabilities.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate technical documentation and provide performance reports with recommendations for continuous improvement.
• System Support: Provide operational support, troubleshoot incidents, and ensure high availability of NMS platforms.
• Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and enhance existing tools, processes, and solutions to support scalability and long-term network performance.

What makes you unique:

• Expertise in NMS Platforms: Proven experience working with NMS platforms such as ENM (Ericsson Network Manager), NetAct, ZTE Power Supply Platform, or similar network management systems.
• Strong Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of network protocols, data technologies, and service operational support systems, with familiarity in both mobile and fixed networks.
• Programming Skills: Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, SQL, with the ability to automate tasks and improve system performance.
• System Administration: Hands-on experience with Linux administration (e.g., RHEL), including configuration management and troubleshooting.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze network performance data, identify trends, and proactively optimize services.
• Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external vendors.
• Fluency in English: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of additional languages within the A1 Group is considered an advantage.
• Willingness to Travel: Availability for occasional travel within the A1 Group for project coordination, troubleshooting, and collaboration.
