What would you do? • The L9 Technology Educator Snowflake is a confident Subject Matter Expert who independently delivers training and develops content on the Snowflake Data Warehouse platform and related cloud data technologies. At this level, the individual begins to take on team coordination responsibilities, guides peers, contributes to planning discussions, and helps ensure delivery quality while continuing to deepen Snowflake • Independently deliver instructor led and virtual training on Snowflake, covering architecture, data loading, SQL optimization, Snowpark, and Cortex AI. • Contribute to the development of Snowflake course content, lab guides, and certification assessment questions. • Take on team coordination responsibilities by assisting in planning content workstreams and reviewing junior contributions. • • Strong proficiency in Snowflake Data Warehouse architecture, virtual warehouses, databases, schemas, and Snowflake objects. • Hands on experience with Snowflake SQL for complex querying, window functions, and query performance optimization. • Thorough understanding of data warehousing concepts including star schema, snowflake schema, slowly changing dimensions, and data vault modeling.
What are we looking for? • 1. Subject Matter Expertise and Training Delivery • Deliver instructor led and virtual training on Snowflake covering architecture, virtual warehouses, data loading, SQL optimization, Snowpark, and Cortex AI capabilities. • Facilitate hands on labs and workshop exercises based on real world Snowflake data engineering and analytics use cases. • Create technically accurate assessment questions and scenario based evaluations for Snowflake certification preparation. • Stay current with Snowflake platform updates, new features such as Cortex AI, Native Apps, and Iceberg, along with certification curriculum
Roles and Responsibilities: • Team Coordination and Stakeholder Engagement • Assist in planning Snowflake content workstreams and reviewing contributions from junior team members. • Engage with program managers and capability leads to align training solutions with project and organizational requirements. • Provide recommendations on incorporating advanced Snowflake topics such as Cortex AI, Native Apps, and Iceberg into training programs. • Participate in cross team decisions related to data platform enablement curricula. • Represent Snowflake SME interests in cross functional working groups and curriculum planning sessions.Good to Have • Familiarity with Snowflake Cortex AI capabilities including LLM powered SQL functions and machine learning analytics. • Understanding of Snowflake security models including role based access control, data masking, and row level security. • Experience with dbt integrated with Snowflake for transformation workflows. • Awareness of Snowflake Native Applications Framework and Data Sharing and Marketplace capabilities. • Ability to design lab exercises and assessments covering end to end Snowflake data engineering and analytics scenarios. • 5. Continuous Improvement • Identify opportunities to enhance training quality, learner engagement, and assessment rigor within Snowflake programs. • Contribute to best practice guides, SME knowledge repositories, and curriculum standards for Snowflake technologies. • Provide feedback and recommendations on curriculum structure, pacing, and delivery formats. • Share Snowflake ecosystem insights and emerging industry trends with the Technology Educator community. • Support the adoption of new Snowflake features into existing learning content proactively.Additional Information • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in data engineering, data analytics, or cloud data warehousing with hands on Snowflake experience.Any Graduation
