Senior Business Analyst

N-iX is looking for a skilled Senior Business Analyst to join the team. 

About the project:

Our customer is a full quote-to-cash ERP/PSA used by field service companies (system integrators) that install and maintain physical equipment - AV systems, security cameras, fire alarms, HVAC. The platform covers:

• Sales: opportunities, quoting, ordering
• Projects: project management, resource scheduling
• Service: dispatch, ticketing, field technician management
• Finance: accounting, GL, invoicing, purchasing (the financial core is central to everything)
• Reporting: data sources, dashboards, report builder
• Mobile app: native iOS and Android for field technicians (dispatch, tasks, timesheets, scheduling, offline sync)

All modules feed into a single financial core. The platform is sold as an all-or-nothing product today - no modular subscriptions.

Responsibilities:

• Requirements elicitation - interviews, workshops, stakeholder sessions, effectively managing multiple approval layers and iterations.
• Critical analysis - identifying gaps, conflicts, and edge cases in stated needs
• Specification writing - user stories with clear acceptance criteria and DoD, specs written against the variability surface
• Create process diagrams using BPMN or other modeling tools when necessary.
• Scope management - tracing every change into WBS and estimate impact
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and requirement clarification sessions. Proactively build trust, manage conflicts within cross-functional teams, handle unavailable or demanding stakeholders, and drive prioritization.
• Documentation - process flows, data models, living specifications
• Stakeholder communication - acting as the bridge between business and delivery
• Backlog prioritization - collaborating with the PO/PM
• Delivery support - resolving ambiguity for the team during development
• Acceptance validation - verifying delivered functionality against requirements, alongside QA

Requirements:

• 5+ years of commercial experience as a System/Business Analyst, demonstrating a clear Senior-level proficiency
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and systemic problem-solving skills.
• Proven track record in the development and deployment of WEB and Mobile products
• Proven track record of writing and structuring requirements from scratch, with the ability to navigate ambiguity when documentation is missing.
• Practical experience working in vendor-driven environments with complex stakeholder structures and iterative approval loops.
• Ability to lead and monitor tasks from the initial requirement phase through to final product launch.
• Hands-on experience with BPMN and UML notations to map business processes and identify bottlenecks
• Practical experience in REST API design and a solid understanding of microservices architecture
• Experience working closely with UI/UX designers, Backend/Frontend developers, QA, and DevOps engineers
• Experience working with non-functional requirements (scalability, security, performance)
• Excellent communication skills, including presentation and knowledge sharing experience
