Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Manager Food-Nutrition Services, you will support and lead our Food and Nutrition Services (FNS) team members by managing daily operational systems and quality initiatives so they can consistently deliver service excellence to our patients and guests.
Every day you will oversee the functionality of our department’s operational systems to ensure all daily staff needs are met and service standards are upheld. You will be expected to lead designated team members in their daily duties, monitor quality performance metrics, and serve as an active member of the management team to contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of department-wide operational systems.
To be successful in this role, you must have prior experience in food service management, a strong aptitude for troubleshooting operational processes, and the ability to lead and mentor a diverse team toward achieving high-quality service goals.
Job Requirements
Required Education and Experience
- Minimum of two (2) yrs leadership expedrience
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor's/Associates degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Culinary or relalated field OR Three (3) yrs of equivalent combination of education and foodservice-related expedrience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree
Required Licensure and Certification
- Registered dietitian or Certified dietary Manager within 24 months
- ServSafe Food Protection Manager upon Hire
- ServSafe Allergen (ServSafe Gen) within 60 days of hire
- FHP: Within 30 days or State requirement; FHP State approved: WA
