Job Description

David Yurman Summer 2027 Internship 

The David Yurman Internship Program in New York City is a paid 9-week immersive experience designed for students and emerging professionals passionate about the luxury jewelry industry. This exclusive program offers interns the opportunity to work closely with expert teams across various departments. Interns will gain hands-on experience in crafting exquisite jewelry, understanding the intricacies of luxury branding, and learning the operational aspects of a world-renowned brand. Set in the heart of NYC, interns will also have access to networking events, mentorship, and industry insights that foster professional growth in the competitive luxury market.

Digital Design Intern

Overview

David Yurman is looking for a Digital Design Intern to help support the Social Media Design Team. The selected candidate should have outstanding interpersonal skills, strong organizational skills, and a collaborative approach.

What you’ll do

• Support with seasonal social media planning, layouts & cropping needs.
• Assist in design of wholsale evites and internal assets + presentations
• Assist in conceptualizing video & digital still life & lifestyle photo shoots for a wide range of usage.
• Assist in design and execution of Instagram stories and TikToks
• Actively communicate with cross-functional partners to understand the strategy and deliverables, and articulate creative thinking behind the design decisions
• Remain current on emerging trends in advertising, digital designs, 360 marketing and be inspired by current trends in design, art and culture to bring “state of the art” innovations to David Yurman.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive understanding of social media assets and specs (in-feed, reels etc)
• Conceptual thinking and hands-on design skills.
• Superior knowledge and skills with Adobe CS Suite (XD, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Strong knowledge of video & animation skills a plus (After Effects, Premiere)
• Detail oriented, efficient, organized, self-starter, highly productive and collaborative approach to work.
• Adaptability, maintaining effectiveness when experiencing changes in work tasks or the work environment; adjusting effectively to work within new processes and requirements.

Education 

Must be currently enrolled in undergraduate studies in a related field with a 3.0 overall GPA minimum
