Independent Medical Courier (1099 Contractor) – Roanoke, VA
Day, Evening, Overnight & Weekend Delivery Opportunities Available Now
GO2 Delivery has been moving critical healthcare shipments for over 29 years. We contract with independent courier businesses in the Roanoke area to deliver medications, lab specimens, and medical supplies for hospitals, laboratories, and pharmacies.
This is not an employee position. You run your own courier business, use your own vehicle, and decide which delivery opportunities to accept.
What the Work Looks Like
- Time-sensitive medical and pharmaceutical deliveries, including lab specimens, prescriptions, and medical supplies
- On-demand (STAT), scheduled, and long-distance routes
- Opportunities across days, evenings, overnights, and weekends
- Local and regional runs, so you choose the type of work that fits your business
- Steady volume in Roanoke. Healthcare clients need deliveries around the clock, and opportunities are available now.
- Earning potential of $50 – $300+ per day. Gross earnings vary based on the volume and type of deliveries you accept.
- Your business, your decisions. You choose which offered deliveries to accept or decline and when you make yourself available.

Medical deliveries carry real consequences, so our clients hold every delivery to a high standard:
- On-time pickup and delivery within the client's required window
- Accurate chain-of-custody and proof-of-delivery documentation
- Careful handling of specimens, medications, and temperature-sensitive items
- Clear, responsive communication when a delivery is in progress
Requirements to Contract with GO2
- Valid driver's license with fewer than 2 moving violations and no DUIs in the past 7 years
- Reliable, well-maintained vehicle (larger vehicles can handle higher-volume routes)
- Auto liability insurance of at least $100,000/$300,000, with a deductible of $5,000 or less
- Minimum age of 23 (insurance requirement)
- Smartphone capable of running delivery and proof-of-delivery apps
