Hiring: HDV Heavy Mechanic

Salary: 5,321

Rotation: 90/30 

Location: Offshore Islands, UAE

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Vocational/Technical Certificate in Automotive or Mechanical Maintenance (preferred)
• Proven experience as a Heavy Duty Vehicle Mechanic
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Engines & Transmissions
  • Braking & Suspension Systems
  • Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems
  • Electrical & Electronic Systems
• Skilled in diagnostics and use of testing equipment
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Physically fit for workshop and field work

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on:
  • Trucks
  • Trailers
  • Buses
  • Construction Equipment
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
• Repair or replace:
  • Engines
  • Transmissions
  • Brakes
  • Suspension Systems
  • Hydraulic Components
  • Cooling Systems
  • Electrical Components
• Carry out welding, fabrication, and mechanical fitting when required
• Perform functional testing after repairs
• Maintain job cards, inspection reports, and parts consumption records
• Coordinate with operators and supervisors regarding vehicle issues
• Ensure compliance with maintenance procedures and manufacturer standards
• Follow all HSE requirements and PPE regulations
• Report hazards, unsafe conditions, and equipment defects
• Support workshop housekeeping and proper tool management

Preferred Certifications:

• Automotive Maintenance Certification
• Mechanical Maintenance Certification
