Client Documentation Services Officer

This role, based in Hong Kong, belongs to Client Documentation Services (CDS) – Central Screening Unit under the COO division and has below job functions.

• Review client’s name screening results
• Promptly escalate all potential or true hits for further review and investigations
• Perform basic due diligence and background check on adverse findings
• Liaise with Front Office for additional information when required
• Complete name screening tasks according to the bank’s screening standards and timelines

YOUR CHALLENGE

•              Review client’s name screening results generated by the name screening solutions and perform first level risk assessment assessments on name hits

•              Ensure review and disposition of hits are adequately documented and cleared / escalated within the required timeline

•              Request further information from Front office, escalate potential or true hits identified to respective stakeholders

•              Guide Front Office on name screening process where appropriate

•              Provide ad hoc or administrative support as required by Team Head or Department Head

Personal and Social

•              Hard working, responsible and able to work overtime if required

•              Meticulous and accurate in executing work assigned

•              Able to work under pressure and consistently meet work timelines

•              Excellent inter-personal skills

•              Able to work independently as well as be a strong team player

•              Strong communication skills needed to coordinate with internal business partners

Professional and Technical

•              Degree holder or minimum of 2 years of related banking working experience

•              Have basic knowledge in AML due diligence  

•              Have basic knowledge of regulatory guidelines

•              Prior experience on handling screening hit disposition would be an advantage

•              Good MS Office software knowledge, Outlook, Excel, Word.  Python computer knowledge would be an advantage

•              Good command of both written and verbal in English and excellent command of Chinese language ability
