Tax (Senior, Supervisor, Manager, & Senior Manager)

IFG-US is partnering with a client whose Tax team is seeking to hire 8–10 professionals at the Senior, Supervisor, Manager, or Senior Manager level. The primary need is for strong tax generalists with experience preparing flow-through returns and exposure to a variety of other return types. Most tax backgrounds will be considered; however, the client is not seeking Managers or Senior Managers whose experience is limited to C Corporations. All candidates must have daily access to a vehicle and be able to commute as needed to client locations and all three offices (Downtown Chicago, Western Suburbs, and Northern Suburbs). 1) Seniors & Supervisors – Generalists, HNW, C Corp Qualifications:

• CPA eligible with 150 hours
• 3–7 years’ experience at a mid-size CPA firm
• Currently responsible for reviewing work 70–100% of the time
• Experience managing tax engagements, including gathering documentation for tax returns, interacting with clients, managing deadlines, and supervising and training staff on the job

Compensation:

• Tax Senior: $77,000 - $95,000
• Tax Supervisor: $83,000 - $110,000

2) Managers & Senior Managers – HNW & Generalist Qualifications:

• CPA
• 6–12 years’ experience at a mid-size CPA firm
• 100% review
• Experience managing tax engagements, including collecting required documentation, client communication, deadline management, supervising and training staff, and handling billing responsibilities
• Generalist industries - any of the following:
  • Manufacturing/distribution
  • Construction
  • Technology
  • Real estate
  • Professional services
• HNW clients:
  • Experience reviewing complex 1040s, 1041s, and 709 tax returns, as well as tax planning for high-net-worth clients ($25M-$1B)

Compensation:

• Tax Manager: $100,000 - $155,000
• Tax Senior Manager: $130,000 - $190,000
