As a Carrier Sales Representative, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining relationships with our carrier partners to ensure the successful execution of freight shipments. Operating in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, you will manage a carrier portfolio, source capacity, negotiate rates, and resolve service issues with agility and professionalism. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage a portfolio of carrier relationships to support customer freight need.
Negotiate pricing and secure capacity for both spot and contracted freight
Maintain at least 10 loads per day, while buying at or better than market
Maintain regular communication with carriers to proactively address service disruptions and ensure high-quality execution
Meet and exceed daily performance metrics, including outbound calls, proactive tracking, and service reliability
Leverage internal tools and external resources to strategically source carrier capacity
Monitor and analyze market trends to inform pricing decisions and optimize carrier utilization
