Description
Loparex LLC is the world's largest manufacturer of extrusion base and silicone coated release liners for the converting industry. We have manufacturing operations throughout the U.S., Europe, China, and India. The Malvern facility annually supplies three billion square feet of release liner worldwide. We are currently looking for high energy, safety focused and motivated individuals to join our Malvern, PA workforce as a Utility Forklift Operator and Production Support.
Must be able to work 24/7 rotating shifts working 2 weeks of dayshifts and 2 weeks of nightshifts including 2 weekends a month. Overtime availability.
Position Summary
- Understand and follow all applicable safety and environmental requirements.
- Understand and follow parameters on work orders, schedules, and special instructions.
- Stage the materials to the Blown Film lines, Coater, and Release Film Slitters as required by the daily production schedules, using Globe-Tek and/or materials requirements sheets.
- General housekeeping to keep assigned work area, material storage areas, and transport aisles clean, neat, and orderly.
- Assist operators on Slitters to clear materials from the machine and pack out finished rolls so that the Operator can maintain high output by having more time to run the slitters.
- Assist operators on Slitters to unload racks and stage materials for processing through the slitters or rewinders.
- Strap and stretch wrap FG skids and move to shipping area.
- Cut cores, move pallets, move packaging material, and labeling finished goods in support of production.
- Assist in taking inventory and cycle counts.
- General housekeeping to keep assigned work areas, material storage areas and transport, aisles clean, neat and orderly.
- It is understood that this list of responsibilities is not all encompassing and that we are all expected to do any other duties that may be assigned to our jobs.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Track record of satisfactory attendance and punctuality.
- Willingness to work 24/7 rotating shifts working 2 weeks of days and 2 weeks of nights including 2 weekends a month. Overtime availability.
- Experience working in manufacturing or other related environment.
- Able to accurately perform required math calculations.
- Able to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment
- Adaptable to learn and implement new procedures, satisfactory communication skills
- Able to lift 50-pound load, climb stairs, reach, bend and push-pull.
- Must be able to qualify to operate forklift truck and other material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hoists.
