Job Description

As a Security Officer Graveyard Lobby Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional in a commercial real estate location, you will welcome visitors, manage access credentials, monitor alarm panels, and support a professional, welcoming environment. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with tenants and guests, and help address security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors at a commercial real estate front desk by following site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access to the building, greet and screen visitors, verify authorization as required, and direct guests to appropriate offices or building areas.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, issue temporary access credentials in accordance with site procedures, and communicate access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities.
• Assist with front-desk communications, including answering phones, receiving deliveries, and reporting maintenance or security-related concerns to site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
