Stakeholder, Consultant and Contractor Coordination
- Coordinate Arena engagement with Development Project Management, architects, engineers, specialist consultants, contractors, integrators, vendors and internal MBS stakeholders.
- Plan and facilitate technical workshops, design reviews, coordination sessions and issue-resolution meetings.
- Maintain action registers with clear owners and deadlines, following through until resolution.
- Translate operational concerns into clear project requirements and communicate project constraints back to Arena stakeholders.
Programme, Cost, Risk and Procurement Interface
- Own the Arena-level view of delivery milestones, dependencies, risks, issues and decision deadlines, and intervene where outcomes are at risk.
- Provide senior technical input to project cost, commercial and procurement strategies, including the implications of requirements, changes and technical selections.
- Lead the preparation and review of scopes, technical requirements, procurement inputs, evaluations and recommendation papers where required.
- Identify material delivery risks early, direct practical mitigation and escalate decisions requiring executive intervention.
Commissioning, Defects, Handover and Readiness
- Lead the Arena owner-side commissioning, acceptance, operational-readiness and handover strategy.
- Set acceptance criteria and oversee readiness, test plans, inspections, defects, outstanding works, documentation, training and acceptance evidence.
- Direct operational participation in systems testing, integrated testing, mock events and venue-readiness activities.
- Confirm that as-built information, operating manuals, warranties, asset data and training records are complete and formally transferred to responsible teams.
Lifecycle and Future Venue Projects
- Support transition of project knowledge, registers and records into the steady-state Arena organisation.
- Develop frameworks for future capital works, technical upgrades, lifecycle replacement and venue-improvement projects.
- Apply lessons learned and continuously improve project-control and coordination processes.
