Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Office Building Access Control in Santa Ana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will provide a welcoming presence for tenants, visitors, and guests while supporting access control, visitor management, and security-related communications. You will use technology to maintain accurate records, respond professionally to inquiries, and help create a positive environment through exceptional customer service, teamwork, integrity, and a caring approach.

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees at a commercial real estate front desk by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and visitor management requirements.
• Greet visitors professionally, verify identification and appointment details, issue visitor credentials as applicable, and direct guests to appropriate offices or contacts.
• Monitor access points, lobby activity, cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems; report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, incident reports, and daily activity records while providing professional telephone, reception, and administrative support as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
