You will support the month-end close, accounting, and reporting activities across the APAC region. In this role, you will develop in-depth knowledge of the Company's systems, processes, products, and reporting requirements while partnering with stakeholders across Finance and the business. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, tax compliance, and audit readiness, while contributing to process improvements that support business growth and operational efficiency. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Role Overview And Core Responsibilities

• Support the month-end close process, including preparation of management accounts, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Assist with tax filings, year-end audits, and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain and update accounting policies and processes as needed.
• Prepare information and reports for tax filings, group reporting, financial analysis, and other local and global reporting requirements.
• Utilize finance systems and reporting tools, including ERP platforms and Microsoft Office applications, to support APAC reporting activities.
• Build effective working relationships across the APAC region and collaborate with management and associates on reporting-related matters.
• Present financial information, analyses, and recommendations clearly and professionally to stakeholders.

• Partner with Finance and cross-functional teams, including Sales, IT, and Product, to enhance reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to support accounting and reporting initiatives and resolve issues in a timely manner.

• Work independently, exercise sound judgment in escalating issues, and perform other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge And Experiences

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification such as HKICPA, ACCA, CPA Australia, or equivalent is preferred.
• 5-8 years of accounting, financial reporting, or audit experience, preferably within a multinational environment.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with ERP systems such as PeopleSoft or similar integrated finance systems is preferred.
• Sound understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting requirements, and internal controls.
• Knowledge of tax compliance and statutory reporting requirements is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Cantonese.
