When the flow of goods stops at the receiving dock, the entire warehouse comes to a halt. As Team Leader Inbound Logistics at DocMorris, you ensure that thousands of products smoothly and punctually make their way into our high-bay warehouse every day.

You lead your team on the floor, maintain oversight during peak hours, and keep the logistical engine of our operations running seamlessly.

What you will achieve

You are the central link between incoming goods and the rest of our operations. You take ownership of ensuring a cost-effective and customer-centric workflow.

Specifically, this means:

• Floor Management & Storage: You coordinate unloading, verify shipping documents, and ensure correct storage in the high-bay warehouse.

• Prioritisation & Flow: Chilled deliveries and cross-dock shipments require speed. You recognize the urgency, direct the internal material flow efficiently, and intervene before bottlenecks can form.

• Team Leadership: You lead your team in daily operations, onboard new colleagues, and build a productive environment where people are motivated to work with you.

• Quality & Collaboration: You ensure compliance with quality standards, document discrepancies accurately, and align continuously with Outbound, Purchasing, and Quality Management.

What you bring to the table

You remain calm and composed even when multiple trucks arrive at the yard simultaneously. You act respectfully, lead by example, and understand how processes interconnect in a large-scale warehouse.

Your must-haves:

• Vocational or Bachelor's working/thinking level, or solid, proven leadership experience in a logistics environment.

• Thorough experience in goods receipt and working with warehouse management systems (specifically SAP) and MS Office.

• Good communication skills in English, plus a strong command of either Dutch OR German.

• Willingness to work a 2-shift schedule, which includes working one weekend (Saturday and Sunday) every four weeks.
