The Senior Program Manager, Operations will lead strategic growth initiatives and support operational planning for Champions, a division of KinderCare Learning Companies. Champions partners with school district and community organizations nationwide to provide high-quality early childhood education and care for children aged 6 weeks through 12 years.
As Senior Program Manager, you will serve as a strategic liaison between business leadership and cross-functional partners. With a commitment to operational excellence, you'll help build strategies that support enrollment growth, revenue optimization, and consistent implementation & adoption of business standards. You'll stay connected to and focus on the experience of our field teams, families, and clients.
This role requires a highly collaborative and analytical leader who can balance strategic thinking with operational execution. You will gather feedback from key stakeholders and pair it with data and insights to drive strategies that move the business forward.
Responsibilities:
• Invest in relationships across business leadership, field operations teams, and corporate functions to drive alignment, collaboration, and execution of strategic priorities
• Partner with senior leaders to develop and execute operational strategies that drive enrollment growth, revenue optimization, and family and client retention while supporting field leaders in planning, prioritizing, executing, and adopting seasonal and strategic initiatives
• Organize and lead cross-functional working sessions; facilitate decision-making, alignment, and accountability for key business objectives
• Use data, analytics, and business insights to evaluate business performance, enrollment trends, family & client experience, and operational effectiveness; provide recommendations to improve business outcomes
• Develop and manage detailed project plans for strategic business initiatives, leveraging project management tools and methodologies to track progress, manage risks, coordinate resources, and drive successful cross-functional implementation aligned with defined objectives, timelines, milestones, and success metrics
• Support creation and implementation of business standards, operating procedures, and process improvements that drive operational excellence
• Drive continuous improvement efforts that simplify operations, enhance field support, improve outcomes for families & clients, and increase organizational effectiveness
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in operations, business operations, program management, project management, consulting, or related functions
• 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional business initiatives with measurable operational or financial impact
• Experience supporting business growth and operational planning in complex, multi-unit environments while effectively prioritizing and managing multiple projects to deliver results in a fast-paced setting
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable business recommendations
• Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and collaborate effectively across multiple levels of leadership and functions
• Strategic and critical thinker with the ability to balance long-term objectives and day-to-day execution
