Vice President, Product Management and Delivery – Payments Platforms

About your role:

As Vice President, Product Management and Delivery, Payments Platforms, you will lead India-based Product Managers and Product Owners across Consumer and Treasury Payments. You will connect global product strategy, client priorities, and platform roadmaps to high-quality execution in India while partnering across Product, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Audit. This role is critical to advancing platform modernization, improving delivery outcomes, and applying artificial intelligence across the product lifecycle and payments experiences.

What you'll do:

• Lead India-based Product Managers and Product Owners across Consumer and Treasury Payments, strengthening product discipline, operating rigor, and execution quality across the portfolio
• Translate global payments strategy, client priorities, market needs, and platform modernization objectives into clear product direction, roadmap priorities, and measurable outcomes for India-based teams
• Provide matrix product oversight for Product Delivery work in India, aligning Product, Technology, and Delivery teams on backlog health, cross-functional dependencies, delivery risks, and business value realization
• Prioritize product and platform investments based on client impact, regulatory requirements, strategic relevance, and expected business outcomes
• Partner with Technology leaders to apply artificial intelligence across discovery, design, prioritization, testing, delivery, and operations to improve speed, quality, decision-making, and customer experience
• Ensure risk-by-design and compliance-by-design practices are embedded across payments platforms by partnering with Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Audit teams to meet governance and control expectations
• Coach, develop, and lead India-based Product Managers and Product Owners while building engagement through strategy forums, roadmap reviews, client context sessions, recognition, and two-way feedback
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior Product, Technology, Delivery, and business leaders, representing the global payments product organization in India and strengthening alignment across teams and geographies

Experience you'll need to have:

• 15+ years of experience in product management, platform leadership, or business-technology leadership within payments, financial services, or other regulated environments
• 15+ years of experience leading product strategy, roadmap execution, and platform modernization initiatives across complex, cross-functional organizations
• 10+ years of experience managing and developing teams, including Product Managers and Product Owners across distributed or global operating models
• 10+ years of experience partnering with Technology, Delivery, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Audit teams to deliver products with strong governance, control, and regulatory alignment
• Experience using artificial intelligence, data-driven prioritization, and measurable product management practices to improve delivery quality, customer experience, and business outcomes
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior executives, align global stakeholders, and communicate product strategy, priorities, and tradeoffs across business and technical audiences
• Bachelor's Degree in business, technology, engineering, finance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience

Experience that would be great to have:

• Experience supporting Consumer Payments and Treasury Payments platforms within a global financial technology organization
• Experience leading India-based product organizations that support global clients, markets, and delivery teams
• Experience with platform-led modernization, operating model transformation, and scaled product delivery practices
• Master's degree in business, technology, engineering, finance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience
