Memory Care Activities Assistant (Part-Time, Weekend Only)

We are seeking a passionate and flexible individual to join our team as a part-time Activities Assistant, focusing on enriching the lives of seniors with dementia. Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in planning and facilitating engaging activities tailored to residents with memory impairments

- Support residents during activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation

- Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for residents participating in activities

- Collaborate with team members to ensure activities meet individual needs and preferences

- Observe and document residents’ responses to activities, reporting any concerns to the appropriate staff

Skills and Qualifications:

- Passion for working with seniors, especially those with dementia

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to be flexible with scheduling, particularly on weekends

- Previous experience in activity planning or senior care is preferred

- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to residents’ needs

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
