Description
Senior Developer responsible for building scalable cloud-native applications that enable Data Science, AI, and ML solutions using AWS or Databricks.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, architect, and develop cloud-native applications using AWS or Databricks.
- Build scalable APIs, microservices, automation workflows, and event-driven applications.
- Lead end-to-end solution architecture from design through production deployment.
- Integrate applications with internal/external systems via APIs, messaging, webhooks, and event streaming.
- Develop services supporting data lakes, data warehouses, ML pipelines, and analytics platforms.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
- Build and operationalize ML applications and MLOps workflows.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists to productionize AI/ML solutions.
- Mentor developers, provide technical leadership, and contribute to architecture decisions.
- Ensure applications are secure, scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
- Experience building production applications in AWS or Databricks.
- Experience with MLOps and/or DataOps.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with distributed systems and big data technologies (Spark, Delta Lake, Kafka).
- Strong API and system integration experience.
- Experience implementing CI/CD (GitHub Actions or similar).
- Understanding of ML lifecycle and supporting Data Science teams.
- Knowledge of microservices, serverless, and event-driven architectures.
- Previous technical leadership or mentoring experience.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
