Description
Overview
This position will assist current employees with daily duties in the Field Operations Department.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Planning, Engineering, and Construction Section with various reporting and tracking methods designed to support departmental programs;
- Assist with Project design;
- Assist in reviewing and provide input regarding current recommended procedures and Distribution Standards;
- Assist in research and development of instruction manuals outlining directives and equipment usage for projects.
- Assist in documenting current Safety Procedures;
- Assist in reviewing accident/claim reports;
- Assist Superintendent of Training/Safety with special projects and assignments.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Safety Science, or Occupational Safety,
- Must have verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of employees;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office;
- Must have organizational management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and usually under short deadlines.
