About the role

We are seeking an NV1 Cleared Escort Operations Manager to oversee the delivery of security services at a Data Centre located in Melbourne’s CBD.

Reporting to the National Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for leading the on site security team, ensuring contractual service requirements are upheld.

This is a Full Time position working predominantly Monday to Friday, however, there will be a requirement to be available after hours to manage urgent operational matters.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • People management: Oversee hiring, training, performance, disciplinary processes and employee terminations in accordance with company policies.
  • Employee development: Develop, mentor and support employees to promote a high performing workforce.
  • Reporting: Compile data for Quarterly Business Reviews and attend and lead client meetings.
  • Cost management: Identify and implement cost saving initiatives and operational efficiencies while maintaining service quality.
  • Payroll administration: Oversee payroll, ensuring employee hours, allowances and leave entitlements are accurate and submitted on time.
  • Client relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, responding promptly to operational issues and service requests.
  • Incident management: Manage operational incidents from initial response through to corrective actions.
  • Equipment and logistics: Oversee the management of uniforms and equipment, ensuring staff are appropriately equipped and inventory is maintained.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience managing security operations, including incident response, compliance requirements, risk management and leading large teams.
  • The ability to confidently lead client meetings, providing operational updates, addressing concerns and presenting solutions.
  • People focused leadership style, with the ability to motivate teams, build a positive culture, and deliver high quality security services.
  • Must be an Australian Citizen and hold a current NV1 Clearance.
  • Valid Victorian Security Licence.
