Description
The Senior Project Manager – Agency Distribution is responsible for overseeing the execution, tracking, and governance of key strategic initiatives across the agency distribution channel. This role also ensures that key agency-related programs — such as recruitment and productivity improvement — are effectively monitored against defined key performance indicators (KPIs).
The role also serves as the central coordinator for progress reporting, facilitating regular governance meetings, and providing actionable insights to drive agency growth, productivity, and retention.
Position Responsibilities:
Agency Project Tracking & Governance
Develop and maintain a centralized tracking system for all key agency distribution initiatives
Track and report initiative progress. Enable capability to provide progress updates across zones, regions, branches, and agency leaders, if and when required.
Monitor project milestones, timelines, and deliverables aligned with agency business plans.
Identify risks (e.g., low activation rates, declining productivity, recruitment gaps) and escalate appropriately.
Ensure initiatives align with overall Agency distribution strategy, focus areas, and sales targets (e.g., APE, NBV growth)
KPI Monitoring & Performance Management
Support the definition, tracking, and reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs) across agency initiatives, including recruitment, activation rates, agent productivity, persistency, conversion ratios, and performance against targets.
Develop dashboards, scorecards, and performance reports to monitor results and provide actionable insights.
Analyze performance trends to identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities, and partner with agency leaders to drive accountability and execution of action plans.
Stakeholder Coordination
Work closely with key stakeholders including Agency Distribution Heads, Agency Leaders, Training, Operations, and Marketing teams
Act as the central point of coordination for initiative updates and cross-functional alignment
Support rollout of agency programs across multiple territories
Meeting Facilitation & Reporting
Act as the central point of coordination for initiative updates, governance activities, and cross-functional alignment across Agency Distribution, Training, Operations, Marketing, and other key stakeholders.
Facilitate governance forums, business reviews, and steering committee meetings, ensuring timely reporting on initiative progress, KPI performance, key risks, mitigation plans, and best practices.
Track and follow through on action items to maintain execution discipline and support informed decision-making by senior leadership.
Agency Effectiveness & Continuous Improvement
Drive improvements in agency processes, reporting standards, and tracking methodologies
Support implementation of digital tools for agency management (e.g., CRM systems, lead management platforms, activity tracking tools)
Identify and scale best practices across agency teams to improve productivity and retention
Contribute to transformation initiatives aimed at modernizing the agency model
Required Qualifications:
7–10+ years of experience in life insurance industry, preferably within agency distribution, sales management, or business planning.
Strong understanding of life insurance metrics (APE, NBV, persistency, agent productivity, etc.) and sales analytics
Strong project management and execution skills, ideally PM certified
Proficiency in Excel, Project and reporting/dashboard tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Actuarial Science, or related field.
Preferred with Agile certification
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Strong facilitation and presentation abilities
Ability to influence without direct authority
