Help students discover their strengths and reach their full potential! Cross Country Education is seeking passionate Special Education Teachers to provide individualized instruction and foster engaging, inclusive classrooms for elementary students during the 2026–2027 school year in Glenwood, IL.
Position Overview:
- Provide specialized instruction and academic support to elementary students with diverse learning needs in resource and self-contained classroom settings.
- Develop and implement individualized lesson plans and instructional strategies aligned with student goals and learning objectives.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support teams to monitor progress and support positive student outcomes.
- Foster an inclusive, structured classroom environment that supports academic, social, and emotional growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement
- Experience teaching special education students in elementary resource or self-contained classroom settings preferred
