Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and define a future-proof technology strategy aligned with Prudential's overall business objectives and transformation goals.
- Regularly review and update the technology strategy, adapting to evolving market trends, regulatory changes, and business needs.
- Conduct research on insurance market trends, technology trends, competitors analysis, customer partnership preferences; and draw relevant insights on recommendations and areas of improvements for Prudential
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive agreements on technology strategy for Prudential
- Benchmark Prudential’s technology vs. peers and industry leaders and make recommendations on areas of improvements
- Map the technology roadmap to our ongoing transformation program, ensuring technology initiatives and investments directly support program objectives.
- Explore and understand innovative new technologies that may become relevant for the technology team
- Prepare and deliver clear and persuasive presentations for senior management and the board of directors.
- Create detailed reports and memos, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Streamline and design processes using advanced communication tools, data and insights tool to enhance collaboration, visibility of the outcomes delivered by Technology
- Maintain a strong focus on details to ensure accuracy and consistency in all strategic documents.
- Lead coordination of Technology governance cadence, coordinating key forums (e.g., TLT, GTC, FBPR), shaping agendas, and driving alignment on priorities, risks, and decisions
- Develop board- and investor-facing technology narratives, translating strategy, performance, and initiatives into clear business outcomes (growth, efficiency, customer impact)
- Drive performance tracking and value realisation, consolidating key metrics (e.g., digital adoption, AI impact, efficiency) into executive-ready reporting and insights
- Orchestrate cross-functional execution, aligning business, technology, and operations teams to ensure cohesive delivery of strategic priorities
- Conduct external benchmarking and competitive analysis, synthesising peer insights to inform strategy direction and strengthen Prudential’s positioning
Job Qualifications:
- Degree in Business Administration, Technology Management, or a related field, with 7+ years of experience in strategy for a global organization.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business challenges into effective technology solutions.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, able to influence and build consensus across diverse stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, fostering collaboration and trust across the organization.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities, with a focus on detail and precision.
