Functions as an integral part of the patient care team, who consistently performs activities related to patient care needs. Demonstrates proficiency and knowledge of technical functions as outlined in the principal accountabilities required in accomplishment of critically ill patient care needs. Manages multiple demands on his/her time to support the activity of the nursing staff, facilitate the timely flow of patient care in the department, and to ensure that the department is stocked and ready to receive and treat patients at all times.Job Description:
EDUCATION:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:
BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of medical terminology and basic anatomy required.
Knowledge of the special equipment used on Critical Care patients preferred (i.e. cooling blankets, Baxter SVO2 monitors and Gastric Tonometers).
Demonstrates ability to professionally handle public contact, confidential information and maintain effective workflow systems; able to prioritize.
Possess ability to read and speak English legibly.
Interpersonal and communication skills are required.

Pay Range is $32.04 to $40.04 / hourThe compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs.
