OVERALL PURPOSE
The Content & Organic Growth Manager is responsible for driving Lula's organic growth through content, SEO, PR, and thought leadership.
This is a hands-on role that combines strategic ownership of Lula's organic growth channels with the execution of high-quality content across the customer journey. The role is accountable for increasing organic visibility, strengthening brand credibility, and contributing to customer acquisition through owned and earned channels.
Working closely with the Creative Lead, Growth Marketing Manager, Direct Marketing Manager, and external agency partners, the Content & Organic Growth Manager will ensure Lula consistently delivers relevant, engaging, and high-performing content that supports business growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Organic Growth Strategy
- Develop and execute Lula's organic growth strategy across content, SEO, PR, and thought leadership.
- Identify opportunities to increase brand visibility, organic traffic, and demand generation.
- Translate business priorities into organic growth initiatives and content plans.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging content opportunities.
- Drive continuous improvement of organic performance through data-driven optimisation.
Content Strategy & Execution
- Own Lula’s content strategy and editorial calendar, overseeing production across key channels like the website, blog, and campaign materials.
- Write and edit high-impact copy directly, ranging from customer success stories and sales enablement tools to executive thought leadership and press releases.
- Ensure all published content perfectly aligns with Lula’s brand positioning, tone of voice, and broader business objectives.
SEO & Organic Performance
- Manage the relationship with Lula's SEO agency.
- Develop content-led SEO initiatives that support acquisition goals.
- Prioritise keyword opportunities and content roadmaps.
- Oversee implementation of SEO recommendations.
- Monitor and report on organic traffic, rankings, engagement, and conversion performance.
- Continuously optimise existing content to improve results.
PR & Communications
- Manage the relationship with Lula's PR agency.
- Develop PR and thought leadership plans that support business objectives.
- Identify media opportunities, executive profiling opportunities, and industry commentary opportunities.
- Support company announcements and external communications.
- Drive improvements in Lula's share of voice and brand visibility.
Agency Management
- Manage Lula’s external partners, including our SEO and PR agencies, by handling brief development, task prioritisation, and budget management.
- Oversee day-to-day delivery, quality assurance, and ongoing performance management to ensure all agency outputs meet high standards.
THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 5+ years' experience in content marketing, communications, SEO, organic growth, or related roles.
- Strong content strategy and copywriting experience.
- Demonstrated ability to create high-quality content across multiple formats.
- Experience managing agencies and external partners.
- Strong understanding of SEO and content optimisation principles.
- Experience using content and communications to support measurable business outcomes.
- Ideally some experience in fintech, financial services, technology, or B2B environments
- Experience managing thought leadership programmes is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Search Console, and content performance reporting is a bonus.
